This is the hands-on stage of a staircase order. Tread and riser pieces are organized on the floor while a worker checks a line of shaped parts. On a complex stair, numbering every piece is what keeps the installation in order.
A dry assembly catches mismatched profiles, joint positions and sequence errors before the stone leaves the factory. Where a strong striped vein runs across the treads, setting the pieces out together also shows you the finished pattern. It works alongside the dimensional checks against your drawings, not instead of them.
Curved stairs, turning flights and complete stone stair packages, with slab selection and tread/riser coordination led by the architect. Quotes are based on approved shop drawings or templates.

A full set of curved stair treads laid out in sequence on the factory floor, so the black veins can be checked around the turn before packing.

Tread blanks set out in a long staggered run to see how the big black swirls travel from one step to the next.

Wedge-shaped winder treads set out as a sweeping turn, with the gray-black bands running across every piece.
