This dry layout shows a complete set of Panda White stair pieces arranged along a sweeping curve. Each cut-to-size piece sits in its intended position, so the bold black veining can be judged across changing tread widths and angles. It is a pre-installation layout, not the finished stair.
A curved stair is more than a repeated rectangular tread. Piece numbers, templates, inside and outside radii, joint positions and visible edges all have to follow the approved shop drawings. With a heavily veined marble, laying the set out also shows how the pattern flows around the turns before anything is crated.
