Panda White puts bold black veining on a crisp white ground, which makes it an expressive choice for floors. In this corridor the pattern runs along the walking route and is mirrored about the center line, giving a narrow, dark space depth and direction.
The effect depends on slab selection and a careful vein layout. For a floor like this we work from photos of the actual slabs, a cutting diagram and the joint positions, and agree the sequence before anything is cut, so neighboring panels carry the veins on from one to the next.
A polished finish shows the most contrast. For a real corridor, choose the finish with traffic, cleaning and slip resistance in mind; honed is the safer choice where floors may get wet.
Hotel corridors, private residences, gallery-style hallways, entrance lobbies and feature floors.
